THE first decision you have to make at Yorkies, the Yorkshire Pudding cafe and takeaway, is should it be pie or pud?
If you plump for pud (after all it is a pudding parlour) the next choice is small or large.
And then, decisions, decisions, that vexed question of "gravy in" or "on the side."
Since the Yorkshire Pudding, usually but not always coupled with roast beef, is such an integral part of British cooking it makes you wonder why no one has thought of specialising before, particularly in God's Own County. |
