Alex Gardner
The founder and owner of Yorkies, Alex has a real 'hands-on' approach. She is usually to be found helping out as part of the team serving customers and making sure everything is running smoothly. Yorkies is the realisation of a dream for Alex, who loves Yorkshire Puddings and wanted people to be able to enjoy them throughout the week, not just on Sundays.
Alex has worked in catering and hospitality, on and off, all her life.
She loves seeing her customers smile and to hear their comments or feedback on what they enjoy and how she can improve things in the cafes. Alex knows many of her customers by name and she says
they appreciate the 'good old fashioned customer service' that they
get at Yorkies.
